Art – flags of the world

This art lesson was really successful. It was linked to the geography research that we’ve been doing. The children first drew the design of the flag onto card. They then used small pieces of tissue paper to create the colours. Some children used different shades of the colours for each section, which looked really effective. The class enjoyed making them, and it was a relaxing break from this week’s optional QCA assessments!
I’ll add some more photos next week of some more of the finished flags.
