Click on the tab at the top of the [...]

I’ve added a new page (currently shown as a tab at the top of the website), which contains all my planning and resources for Year 6. So far it’s only 2 literacy and 1 science unit, but I’ll keep adding to it as I complete my planning!

I’ve managed to plan for the first two weeks of the new term, using the new framework. I’ve based the autobiography unit on Roald Dahl’s Boy. I’m going to follow this up with a unit on biography, using biographies of Dahl’s life.
The zip file below contains my planning and some of the resources. I’ve referred [...]

These planning sheets from DCS look really useful. I hate teaching PE, so if anyone has any other useful PE resources please let me know, either by leaving a comment, or using the About/Contact Me page at the top.
You can also get to the plans by clicking on the pictures below.

Here’s the planning and resources I used when I taught The Highwayman to my Year 5 class. I’ve added them as a (quite large) zip file because there are 13 files, including planning, Smart Notebook files, worksheets, the text of the poem and a short list of websites. I also used a few resources from [...]

Schools Links has some really helpful pages, including these two which contain links to all the bits of the old Primary Strategy that are now nearly impossible to find on their site (e.g. Unit plans, Spelling bank).

The science page is also useful, with links to QCA documents, BBC resources, etc.
