About / Contact Me

I’m a Year 6 teacher and Assessment  and Maths Co-ordinator at a fairly small junior school in Bristol.  I’ve been teaching for 5 years in London and now Bristol.  I’ve also worked during that time as a supply teacher, PPA teacher, private tutor and museum educator and co-ordinated Literacy, ICT, History and Geography.

I’m currently trying to find outcomes for writing that involve a real audience, and improving my cross-curricular teaching.  I’m also interested in the use of ICT in the classroom

Long-term, I’d love to work in museum education – my first degree is in Ancient History.

I originally set up this blog to help me to reflect on my teaching and to enable me to collect some of my resources easily.  But I’m hoping aspects of it will also be useful to other teachers.

  1. I have just found your site…some great ideas.
I am delighted to have found you because have been looking for uk primary schools that we might do some collaborative work with. Would you be interested ?

  2. Greetings! Great to see a blog in action. I am a bumbling digital immigrant and appreciate seeing how you have set up your blog. Mine is very much a poor first attempt and I wasn’t sure of what to do with it. I teach a year 6 class in Western Australia and hopefully will develop our site. Thanks again for your super site. Vey inspirational. Regards, Duncan Price.
